Dental Coverage

With a Cigna Healthcare Dental PPO (DPPO) plan, certain preventive dental care services, such as cleanings, oral exams and routine X-rays, are covered at no additional cost when you use an in-network dentist.** And those visits are important for maintaining your overall health. 

Pharmacy Coverage

Preventive medications are covered at no cost-share under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA). View our 2025 drug list to see if your current medication is covered.

Medical and Dental Provider Directory

You can help avoid surprise bills by making sure your doctors, facilities and providers are part of the Cigna Healthcare^SM network. To search, use the Provider Directory, sign in as a guest and enter your location, doctor and facility by type. Then, choose “Open Access Plus, OA Plus, Choice Fund OA Plus” under “OAP” for the medical plan.

To search for a dental provider, choose “Total” under “DPPO/EPO.” This selection will allow you to search in both the Advantage and Total networks. Advantage providers offer the highest benefit, while Total are still in-network but at lower benefit level. If the provider you’re searching for isn’t in-network, consider switching to one of our in-network providers.

HRA Balances

The Cigna Choice Fund^® health plans combine health coverage with a Health Reimbursement Account (HRA). Integrated within myCigna^®, you can see your HRA balance, when a claim is processed and when your HRA payment is sent to your provider. Your HRA is funded by IRC and will apply toward your deductible to help with covered health care expenses.

Care Outside the U.S.

If you need urgent or emergency medical care while traveling outside of the U.S., Cigna Healthcare still has your back. You’ll pay your bill and file a claim to be reimbursed for any urgent care or emergency services received.
