Know before you go
Avoid surprise bills by using in-network providers. Search our Cigna Healthcare Provider Directory by location and type. If your provider is out-of-network, you can use the directory to explore alternative providers. You may also choose to continue seeing an out-of-network provider; however, your out-of-pocket costs may be higher. Not a member? Sign in as a guest.
Have a doctor in mind?
If your favorite doctor isn’t in-network, send us a Provider Nomination Form, and we’ll contact them directly.1
Continue your current care
If you’re new to Cigna Healthcare and already seeing a doctor that’s not in our network for a specific condition, you can keep seeing them while we help with a safe transfer to an in-network provider. Just fill out a Transition of Care Form within 30 days after your new Cigna Healthcare coverage begins. Additional Member Resources – effective 1/1/2027
- Cigna Healthcare contacts all nominated providers in an effort to recruit them into the network; however, Cigna Healthcare cannot guarantee that they will be added to the network. Submission of the provider nomination form in no way guarantees the provider will be added to the network. Please note that Cigna Healthcare has national agreements in place for certain services and therefore, we will not be able to recruit the following specialties: Laboratory Services, Home Health Services, Home Infusion Services, Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics and Orthotics, High Tech Radiology and Audiology. Please be advised that the credentialing process for a provider can take up to 90 days.
- Customers must be 13 or older to register on myCigna.com.
- Cigna Healthcare provides access to virtual care through national telehealth providers as part of your plan. This service is separate from your health plan’s network, and all services may not be available in all areas. Subject to state regulations.
